Mommy Watch Day at Dance

Today was Mommy Watch Day at Ally's dance studio. All the moms were invited to sit in on a class, take pics/video, and see what their daughters have learned so far. It's always a lot of fun and the girls are so excited to show off everything they've been learning since August. It's always neat to see the improvement year-to-year (this is Ally's 3rd year of dance). This year Ally is in a 45-minute combo class of tap and ballet. Class always begins with tap and ends with ballet.

Tap. tap, tap!

This part was hilarious!
The girls formed a circle and bent down to touch the floor--and held it--and held it (music playing softly. . . then fading away)
And then all of a sudden it starts back up with a "bang"! The girls pull up instantly--laughing hysterically! And their laughter is contagious!

I was so very proud of Ally! Now if I can figure out how to upload a video, I will post what I recorded!!
