Day 6: Myrtle Beach

Today (as we've done every morning) we headed to the beach.
Claire loved eating the sand--Ewwww!
at the pool
Claire wore herself out!
Tonight we went to the Dixie Stampede dinner show. We got there early so we could see the horses and the preshow.
There were no cameras allowed inside the building so this was my final picture before the show. The show was incredible and the food was fantastic! At the preshow we ran into our friends the Bentley's from church. I knew they were going to be in Myrtle Beach the same week but I never thought we would actually run into them while we were there! It was a nice surprise! The preshow was an Asian comedian/juggler/perfomer who was hilarious--very entertaining! The main show consisted of singing, horse riding, acrobatics, horse races, pig races, miniature horses, and a competition between the North and the South. (The arena was divided--the North side and the South side. We sat on the North side because we were able to get 2nd row seats) They served us dinner thoughout the show which consisted of a drink, vegetable soup, a cheese biscuit, a whole baked chicken, corn, pork, a potato, and an apple turnover--soooo good (oh--and there wasn't any silverware--we had to eat everything with our hands)! We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the show. All of us enjoyed the show and it even kept Claire's attention until she fell asleep in Brent's arms! (she had to sit in our laps--there were no highchairs so I was afraid she'd be a wiggleworm all night)
After the show we decided to play a game of miniature golf (something we do every year on vacation). Ally had really improved from last year! We went to a Hawaiian-themed miniature golf place and they gave each of us a lei to wear.
