I Love My Mom!

My Mom came and stayed with me while Brent has been in China and Scotland. She came last Thursday and stayed through dinner tonight. She has been an AMAZING help to me! Not only has she given me some adult interaction/company as Brent has been away, she's helped me immensely around the house and with the girls. She's cleaned my house, washed/ironed and put away the laundry, woken up when the girls woke up (letting me catch up on my sleep), washed the dishes, played with the girls so I could finish some bow orders, put the girls to sleep at night, fed Claire, helped get the girls ready/dressed for church and MDO, watched the girls while I had dinner with friends--I could go on and on. She experienced what my crazy (but wonderful) life is like as a stay-at-home-mom and the exhaustion that comes with having a very mobile 10-month-old and an independent/opinionated 3-year-old. Thank you Mom! You are so selfless and giving. I couldn't have made it through the week without you. I love you so much and I cherish the time we spend together. And Dad--thanks for letting Mom stay as long as she did and for coming to spend the weekend with us. The girls loved having you here (as did I)!
We went to IHOP after church on Sunday. There was a man going from table to table making balloon sculptures for the kids. He made Ally this adorable heart with 2 lovebirds kissing.
Me and my favorite 3-year-old
The beautiful bracelet that Ally made me in Sunday School. Of course she insisted that I wear it the rest of the day!

That IS nice. Can we book her for my house next weekend? :)

I enjoyed seeing your parents this Sunday @ church, too! I remember seeing your mom @ your Scrapbooking show @ your house a couple of years ago, but I don't think I have seen your dad since high school volleyball games where he was so kind to be line judge so we didn't have to...
