Whew! What a busy day today has been! Today was the first day of MDO (Mother's Day Out). I always get a little emotional this time of year--seeing Ally one year older and moving up classes. Where has the time gone? It was just yesterday when Ally started in the One's class that Claire started today. Now she is in the preschool class and will start Kindergarten NEXT YEAR! I wish I could pause time--I'm not ready for my baby to grow up so soon! When I taught Kindergarten I never understood the moms that cried that first day--now I totally get it! I cry every year as I watch Ally start a brand new year with brand new teachers. ready for school
Lexi, Ellie, and Ally (I can't tell the twins apart)
Ellie (I think), Ally, and Kayla
GraceAnn, Lexi (yes, there's two), Ally, Kayla, and Anna Grace

Ally, Mrs. Vicki, Mrs. Lori, and Claire (these are Ally's teachers)
Claire adjusting well to her class
Miss Abby & Claire (I don't know the names of the kids in Claire's class yet)--Miss Abby is leaving next week for college :(
Claire & Mrs. Debra (Mrs. Debra is Claire's Sunday School teacher as well and just ADORES Claire. She taught Ally when she was in the One's Class.)
Mrs. Martha & Claire (Mrs. Martha takes care of Claire on Sunday and Wednesday nights in the nursery)
This is the bag Ally made today at school and will bring each day.
The girls both had great days at school. Ally was upset when I got there to pick her up--she didn't want to leave! Boy did I hear all about it on the ride home. And Claire got a great report from her teachers--they said how happy she was and how well she played with the other kids. Once we got home Ally had to get ready for her first day of dance. (This year she has dance on Tuesdays from 4:00-4:30 p.m. It makes for a busy day.)

Ally had a lot of fun in her class! She still has Ms. Marion as her teacher whom she LOVES! There is only 1 girl in her class this year that was in her class last year. Ally doesn't seem to mind--she makes friends quickly. She's definately not shy like I was growing up!

So cute! I actually taught Elli and Lexi in my 3yr old class this summer at Bartlett Baptist! Sweet girls! I would always tell them apart by their flip flops:)
Get the tissues ready. It doesn't get any easier! :) Cute pics, too. Love the ones of Ally with all her classmates.
I feel your pain....Grayson moved up on Monday, and on top of that, 3 of his good friends got put in a separate class because they are older. Grayson is now the oldest in his class. :( It made me feel really sad. Is Ally really going to be one year ahead of Grayson in Kindergarten? AWWWWWW....that makes ME sad.
Great pictures!!!
How cute is she? Big girl!
